Sculpting Sound is a typographic system inspired by the Speak Percussion Showreel. It explores how everyday percussion sounds can be translated into abstract shapes, motion lines, and custom letterforms. Sharp tones take on angular forms, while echoes expand into circles. Dashed lines trace musicians’ gestures, visualizing rhythm and movement. Each letter reflects a specific sonic moment, combining form, color, and composition to ask: What does sound look like?
